Images everywhere: on TV, on the Internet, on posters, in magazines, images are omnipresent. Images that entertain, inform, awaken desires, form the way we see our world and ourselves. In his works, Dirk Reimes explores the production of all kinds of ideals, illusions and projections – somewhere between art and commerce, photography and painting, analogue and digital, from image databases, furniture stores, friends and family.
