An installation consisting of components for a new symposion, a symposion envisioned as a coming together of minds and bodies – egalitarian, playful, collective. As equality and participation are not (and most likely will never be) fully realized, this new symposion is a utopian idea. But one which opens up to the viewer, inviting him or her to imagine taking part, looking at the installation while listening to an audio that takes her or him to a new symposion and beyond – towards a speculative future in which the individual, together with her/his sexuality, merges into collectivity: into a “global mucous membrane”.
